A Sundowner

Ndutu sunsets are beautiful, and we love sharing this unique African bush experience with our guests over a sundowner.

The drive to the sundowner site normally starts from the lodge at 6pm or earlier arriving in time for the brief moment of the sun setting over a low hill on the horizon, leaving behind colourful displays of red, gold, orange, crimson…that lingers long after the actual disappearance of the sun.

The sundowner site is carefully chosen, offering uninterrupted wide views of the sunset. The sundowner table, laid under a huge umbrella acacia tree, will have a choice of drinks, dry snacks and canapes for the guests to pick, and there will be chairs for those who would choose to sit.

The serene, natural sundowner setting and the contrasting sunset colors is an experience that will stay in your memory for a long time to come.
